Customer Responsibility for Duties, Taxes, and Customs Charges:
When placing an order, it is important to be aware that the total cost of your purchase does not always include the additional charges that may arise during shipping, especially for international deliveries. These charges can include:
Customs Duties: These are fees imposed by the government of the destination country when goods cross international borders. The amount can vary depending on the type of goods, their value, and the customs regulations of the destination country.
Import Taxes and VAT: Some countries apply value-added tax (VAT) or other forms of sales tax on imported goods. This tax is typically calculated based on the value of the goods and any applicable shipping costs.
Customs Processing Fees: In some cases, customs authorities or courier companies charge a processing fee for handling the customs clearance of an item.
What This Means for You:
As the recipient, you are responsible for covering these charges when they are due.
These fees are not included in the price of your order or the shipping cost at checkout, and they will be billed to you by the customs authorities or the carrier before delivery.
We do not have control over these charges, and they can vary widely depending on the country of delivery.
How to Prepare:
Before placing your order, we recommend checking with your local customs office or postal service to understand what duties, taxes, and fees may apply to your specific order.
Be sure that you are aware of your country’s import policies and any potential fees, as these are your responsibility to pay in order to receive your package.
By agreeing to our company policy, you acknowledge that you are aware of the possibility of additional fees, and that you will bear the cost of any such charges.
